Content Management
CONTENT MANAGEMENT
A Content Management System (CMS) is a system that can be used to manage the content of your website. It allows you to update your text and images on your website pages without having to ask your web designer to do it for you. It is ideal in situations where your website is providing an information source for events or for clubs.
We have recently added another string to our bow by developing custom made Wordpress websites which give full content management system functionality, allowing users to add pages and amend menus as well as allowing visitors to leave feedback. Please visit www.unisoninverclyde.org.uk/ to see this in action.
In addition TSP has its own CMS, which allows website owners to login and change the text without worrying about inadvertently changing
the navigation or general layout of the website. The initial set up of the system will be included in your design fees for the website, we charge an annual subscription of £50 for customers who wish to make use of this facility.
TSP has designed and builtwebsites for organisations which make full use of TSP's content management system to keep their members informed of events and updates; as examples have a look at www.inverclydeasc.co.uk and www.kilmacolmoldkirk.org.uk
The following TSP websites are examples of some of our customers who have opted to update the text on their websites themselves using CMS
- www.theplan-uk.com
If you do not require to update your content frequently, then TSP would be happy to carry out modifications as and when you require, the cost for this service is on a time basis, at a rate of £25/hour.
